Intervention: QMHP-C first probed JaCaeri as to the cause of the physical altercation between he and the negative peer today. QMHP-C then verbalized to JaCaeri he should’ve walked away from the peer before arguing with him and then later being punched in the face by the peer. Intervention: QMHP-C also gave JaCaeri alternate conflict resolution techniques to use to help with the deescalating altercations such as the “stop think and count to 10 techniques. QMHP-C then identified healthy physical outlets for JaCaeri’s strong feelings of anger and aggressive impulses which will keep him from being involved in altercations in the community. Response: JaCaeri reviewed the anger rules and was able to recall them as he reported at times he does recognize the negative interactions he has with his sibling in the home. JaCaeri also stated he does not want to be bullied by anyone, and especially not his sibling. Response: JaCaeri informed QMHP-C that their mother does not always listen to him when he complains about being bullied by sibling. JaCaeri reiterated to QMHP-C the continued problems that he encounters at home with his sibling is because he often tries to bully him.
